Closes: August 20, 2024

Register by August 20 for a $50 discount.
Late registrations are accepted on space availability.

Registration can be completed via the REMHA - Hockey Canada Registration System.

IN PERSON REGISTRATION DATES
In person registration can be done by CASH ONLY. Sorry, NO credit card, debit card, or cheques
accepted.

ADDITIONAL FEES

PRACTICES/TOURNAMENTS/TEAM FUNCTIONS

Team Practices and tournaments are extra costs NOT included in the registration fee.  Parents will be responsible to pay for all team practices and tournaments.  The fees are dependent on the number of practices/tournaments and the number of players on the team.  This can range from $400 for house league level to $1000 for A1 level hockey depending on level and age and amount the team practices.

PARENT RESPECT IN SPORT

One parent/guardian of each player will be required to complete the online Parent Respect in Sport program. RIS Fee: $12.00

JERSEYS/SOCKS

River East Royals Players will require home and away jerseys and socks. The price for a set jerseys and socks is: Skaters: $200.

Female teams NorthEast Eagles and Predators will require home and away jerseys and socks. The price for a set jerseys and socks is: Skaters: $246.

U7 and U9 House league teams will be provided a community club jersey.  Jerey deposit will be required.




PROGRAMS INFO:


U7 House league (2018, 2019, 2020)

Players will be placed on a team at one of the area community clubs.  Practices are once a week and games on a weekend morning.  Practice days and game days are not usually a set day.  Season will start with 6 weeks of development sessions on weekends.

Females born in 2018 can also play female U9. Please email REMHA registrar if you wish to do this.

U9 (2016, 2017)

Can select:

U9 House - This recreational level. Players will be placed on a team at one of the area community clubs.  Practices are on average once a week and games one weekend morning.  Practice day and game  day is not usually a consistent day.  Season will start with 6 weeks of development sessions on weekends.

U9A1 - Player will tryout for a River East Royal Team.  Sessions of pathway skates will be followed with tryouts.  Players not selected for this level will be placed on a U9 House league team.  Players placed on A1 team will practice 1-2 times a week and on average one game a week.

Female U9 - (2016, 2017, 2018) - Females only program.  They will play other female only teams in the city.  Sessions of pathway skates will be followed with evaluations.  There are A1, A2, A3 levels.  Practices are 1-2 times a week and on average one game a week.


U11 (2014,2015)

U11 : All "A" hockey registrations participate in evaluations to determine A1-A5  team placement.


U13 (2012,2013)

U13:  All "A" hockey registrations participate in  evaluations to determine A1-A4 team placement.


U15 & U18 (2010, 2011, & 2007, 2008, 2009)

U15 and U18:  There is A1 and A2 Contact, as well as A1 and A2 No Body Contact leagues.  Players can choose Contact or No Body Contact at registration.  Players that indicate their wish  to play contact will tryout for the contact teams and may, due to numbers be placed on a non contact team.


AA and AAA TRYOUTS:


AA is available at U13, U15, U18.
AAA is available at U15 and U18.

U13 and older:  players wishing to tryout for AA and/or AAA please register with Winnipeg AAA.  Winnipeg AAA and AA requires players to have a Community Club registration in order to be assigned to an AA roster.  This community club AA/AAA package is available to register for at REMHA.  IMPORTANT:  This does NOT register the player for A1 to A4 level hockey with REMHA.  Players that registered for the AA/AAA club fee and are released from AA/AAA and wanting to play A level at REMHA will then register for that package on REMHA. A portion refund will be issued for the duplicate fees portion.

AA FEMALE: Players registering in the female program can register to tryout for Female AA during the REMHA registration.  Players that are not selected for AA will be evaluated for an "A" level team.

Community Club: Even though you are registering online with REMHA you are still associated with your home Community Club.  If you are unsure of which community center you belong to please refer to the the River East Community Club Boundaries.   Please ensure you answer the community club question accurately when filling out registration forms.


Post Registration

Patheway Skates, Development Camp, Evaluation Session schedules and group assignments will be emailed to you a week before the first ice time.
