The HCN gives coaches access to Hockey Canada skills manuals for every age category along with a massive library of video, drills, practice plans and articles on varying coaching topics.
• The Drillbook - Manage your team, schedules and all related information. Share practices IN VIDEO with your coaching staff, players and parents. Utilize the most comprehensive and innovative drill database ever developed. Coaches are able to build their own custom video plans OR choose Pre-Built Plans. Build your Annual Plan and Strategy with the "Coaching BluePrint.

Coaching Requirements

River East Minor Hockey will be accepting applications for AA and A Hockey.  We encourage all interested individuals to apply.

Applicants will be notified when their applications have been received. The Selection Committee will contact coaches regarding possible interviews and inform all applicants of the results.

Coaches and assistant coaches are required to supply the following information:

• REMHA Coaches Appliation
• Criminal Record Check
• Child Abuse Registry Check
• Hockey Canada Coaching certification - see below
• Respect in Sport certification - see below
• Register as a coach or bench staff on HCR 

Note: if unable to register at REMHA because you are affiliated with another association, please email registrar@remha.ca

Royals A1 deadline: September 15th

Royals assistant coaches are required to fill out and send in a coaching application once they have been selected.

Hockey Manitoba Coaching Requirements

• All team officials must have Respect in Sport by December 1st.
• Coaches (including Assistants) must have proper certification by December 1st.
• Each team must have a certified Safety - Level 1 person(s).
• All Minor Hockey Coaches must wear a helmet during all on-ice activities.
